The company has developed its patented DYMAT® Dual Seismic Isolation (DuSI) System, a unique seismic isolation system that utilizes DYMAT® Performance Slider (PS) Bearings in combination with the new DYMAT® Carbon-Fiber Reinforced (CFR) Bearings. The DYMAT®
PS Bearings provide the energy dissipation while the DYMAT® CFR Bearings provide the restoring force to the structure.
DYMAT® has also developed the Firewrap line of fire-protection silicon-based materials that can be applied on traditional materials (brick, concrete, steel) or can be used in conjunction with FRPs to protect them from the adverse effects of high temperatures.
Fire Protection System
The DYMAT® Fire Protection System provides superior fire protection and excellent long-term durability through the careful selection of component materials. The final product uses no intumescent materials or spray vermiculites.
Chute Lining System
Apartments and condominiums around the world have chutes that extend down from one floor to the next. With time, the concrete or the material lining of the chutes begin to deteriorate.
The DYMAT® Chute Lining System is installed through inflating a fabric tube to create a liner without workers inside the shaft.

Fyfe, the inventor of the disc bearing and innovator of fiber-reinforced polymers with more than 40 patents in the composite strengthening field, to enhance the characteristics of materials and products through resilience, performance and sustainability. DYMAT® Inc. has conducted an extensive R&D program and has developed a new product – DYMAT®FIREWRAPTM – the Fire Protection System (FPS) (*). DYMAT® FIREWRAPTM FPS is a composite product of several materials, taken from varies industries, optimized to achieve superior fire protection with long-term durability performance in harsh environments. Developed to withstand wind, rain, sleet, snow, and cyclic temperatures and still perform in a fire, the FIREWRAPTM Fire Protection System, while originally developed for the bridge industry, has wide applications where fire protection is needed and required to perform in aggressive environments.

The system is very durable. It comprises reliable solid sheets for excellent long-term performance as opposed to intumescent paint or spray-applied gypsum and other materials which may deteriorate with time and extended weather exposure. The system is engineered to resist flame and heat transfer, acting as a fire-resistant insulator all in one application, saving time and resources when compared to traditional insulation methods.
