Pittsburgh, PA - Coordinated Systems Consulting, a leader in the restorative construction industry, has acquired Surtreat Solutions, a company specializing in surface applied solutions for concrete repair and restoration. This acquisition comes as CSC (Coordinated System Consulting) aims to expand their portfolio of life extending construction technologies to be able to provide the most innovative solutions to their partners and clients, while offering solutions for asset owners, engineers, and contractors.
The purchase of Surtreat Solutions, based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, further increases CSC’s share in the concrete industry in the US, and beyond, as Surtreat Solutions operates around the world, including the Middle East, Mexico, Canada, Europe. CSC will begin integrating Surtreat Innovative SURCO primer into all their FRP Solutions to offer customers the only FRP Solution that includes correction of substrate concrete health and prevention of future corrosion. With the new combination of resources and R&D, Surtreat and CSC customers will be eligible to receive turn-key, holistic, environmentally friendly life extending structural solutions for concrete, brick, masonry, steel, and many other structural elements. Surtreat provides the necessary research, development, engineering, and manufacturing of innovative surface applied migrating technologies which work to strengthen concrete by chemically restructuring the free calcium molecules, but also penetrates through concrete, to reverse rebar corrosion and develop a protective layer on the rebar to prevent future damage.
